Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to me!

It has been a busy period for me.

1. 6 events for 12 Feb 2010.

Preparation for Asiamalls CNY event was extremely tiring for me. Many last minute amendments to the program schedule. They dun understand that one small change, I need to amend 10 sets of program schedule. 1 set for each mall and 1 set for each coordinator at each mall. Simply irritating. Well, I certainly did a great job for that. Everything went smoothly on the actual day with some minor delays. To recall, I did everything alone from the very beginning right to the end. So proud of myself.

BRSMA’s event was a success with the help of William and Samuel. Very grateful to them for helping, thou my client were extremely hor…. Making last minute changes like nobody’s business and asked the performer to perform for 2x his original performance time.

2. CNY

It is the busiest CNY for me in years. My CNY routine was to sleep till afternoon and visit my grandma where all my uncles and aunts will be there. One stop and done. This year is different as we have to visit baby’s family and driving around can be so tiring. So tired after the first day. But was good, still got some ang pows collected, and was good to be able to give too.

Instead of a good break after a big project, I rushed in to a busy festive celebration. Tired out… After the holidays are out, back to work.

3. Lion dance performance for Asiamalls

I did not know what I got myself into! We have planned for certain setup and performance time.

19 Feb – late for 1.5 hours. Kena scolding from my clients. Was mad at them, but I know they really did their best. They overpromised and under deliver. A good lesson learnt.

22 Feb – 1st venue was fine. Everything was on time. 2nd venue was late. Bad planning from their side, not enough manpower and was raining that delayed the journey for them to travel. Client was upset, but nevertheless all went well and they forgot about it.
